Golf Car Tires
DOT (Department of Transportation) Rated Tires
Golf Car Connection offers DOT rated golf cart tires. Using US Dept of Transportation rated golf cart tires gives you peace of mind that you, your colleagues and your family are safe. Many imported golf cart tires do not meet the safety standards of US DOT rated golf cart tires. DOT rated tires are made with better rubber, so they will last much longer when used on cement, asphalt and concrete. Other golf car tires that are not DOT rated are really made to be used on grass only. Since most of our customers use their golf carts on cement, asphalt, and concrete, they wear out their non DOT rated tires much faster. To get long life out of your tires, only get DOT rated tires.
Golf Car Connection also offers golf cart wheel covers, and lifted tires to enhance your golf cart.
Standard golf cart tires are: 18 x 8.50 x 8
Tires on lifted golf cars are: 22 x 11 x 10
To get long life out of golf car tires, you should keep the tire pressure at 22 psi. Since the front tires wear faster because they are used for steering, it’s a good idea to rotate your tires at least once a year. By rotating your tires you will get more even wear out of your tires and they will last longer.
